Thanks to Chef Art Smith and all the folks at The Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead for throwing a big gay wedding for Georgia and Alabama couples who wanted to get married or renew their vows after the historic Supreme Court decision.

Sharon and I tried to take photos and renew our vows all at the same time, but got carried away with taking photographs. We held hands a few times during the ceremony, but decided that we did not participate enough to consider it an actual vow renewal. Considering we had a civil union in 2001, were wed in Connecticut in 2012 and renewed our vows at The Margaret Mitchell House in 2014, we decided it was OK if we weren't able to renew again.
